Serving adults of all genders, addressing the physical, emotional, and relational aspects of recovery from eating disorders, Alsana’s Westlake Village treatment facility treats anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, diabulimia, and other co-occurring conditions. Most clients stay 30-45 days, and during that time, clients receive and participate in 24-hour care, individual therapy sessions, a nursing assessment, nutrition counseling, psychiatry services, supportive other sessions, and group sessions.

In a home-like environment, Alsana provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to lay a strong foundation for recovery. Treatment is structured around the Recovery Story framework, an approach that views recovery as a multi-chapter journey within a client’s life story. Spanning five distinct chapters—from Prologue to Epilogue—this framework helps clients disconnect their identity from the eating disorder, reclaim their authentic voice, and maintain accountability toward personal goals.

Providers refer patients to Alsana when outpatient care isn’t creating meaningful progress. During their stay at Alsana, clients can expect staff-supported meals, weekend outings, and intensive interventions. For clients transitioning out of residential care, Alsana's nearby Westlake Village outpatient treatment facility offers PHP/IOP levels of care and lodging assistance to support ongoing recovery with greater autonomy.
