About Alsana Thousand Oaks Residential
Serving adults of all genders, with well-rounded clinical care, addressing the physical, emotional, and relational aspects of recovery from eating disorders, Alsana operates a network of treatment facilities that treats anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and other eating disorders. Most clients stay 30-45 days and during that time, clients receive and participate in 24-hour care, individual therapy sessions, a nursing assessment, nutrition counseling, psychiatry services, and group sessions.

In a home-like environment, Alsana provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to lay a strong foundation for recovery. They also treat co-occurring mental health conditions along with co-occurring substance use disorders. They use the Adaptive Care Model, which combines caring for medical, nutritional, therapeutic, movement, and relational issues. This approach helps reduce eating disorder symptoms and helps clients attain long-lasting recovery by addressing all the dimensions of eating disorders. During their stay at Alsana, clients can expect staff supported meals, weekend outings, and intensive interventions.
