Provider's Policy

Renfrew works with out-of-network insurance carriers to seek extended member benefits and establish single case agreements. If a recommended level of care is not authorized, Renfrew staff collaborates with all parties to explore options, including appeals or private pay arrangements.

Bringing structured eating disorder treatment directly into home, this fully virtual program helps clients build emotional resilience within their everyday life. Renfrew@Home offers secure, online care tailored for adolescent and adult females, as well as transgender and non-binary individuals through virtual day treatment, intensive outpatient program (IOP), and outpatient groups. Using a private telehealth technology, clients engage in evidence-based therapies that mirror an in-person experience.

Daily Care Guided by Unified Treatment

Daily care follows The Renfrew Center’s Unified Treatment Model, helping clients explore their emotions and build tolerance when facing difficult experiences. Clients participate in a day treatment program that runs 5 days a week and includes group therapy, psychiatric follow-ups, and 2 supported meals per day. For those who need greater support, clients can join an IOP that meets 3 times a week where they receive nutrition consultation, psychoeducation, and one daily supported meal.

Connect Virtually from a Private Space

Renfrew@Home offers weekly outpatient support groups for adolescents, college students, the BIPOC community, and SAGE (Sexuality and Gender Equality) members. Available in over 25 states, clients can access virtual care using a computer or tablet and internet access from the comfort of their homes. Clients with no internet access at home can coordinate with the team to find an alternative private space, such as a local business or a support person’s home.
