About Mission Connection Teen Virtual IOP
Mission Connection Teen provides virtual mental health treatment for adolescents ages 12–17. Their Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (VIOP) offers a more structured level of care than traditional outpatient therapy while allowing teens to receive treatment from home. The program can also provide continued support for teens transitioning from inpatient or residential treatment.
Build Skills Through Personalized Therapy
Treatment combines individual, group, and family therapy with individualized care plans. Teens can attend 1–2 individual sessions weekly and group therapy 4–5 evenings per week, with groups limited to 6 participants. Evidence-based approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Family therapy, parent education, and family support groups are also available.
Balance Treatment With Daily Life
The program serves teens experiencing anxiety, depression, mood and thought disorders, trauma and PTSD, academic and social challenges, and technology addiction. Flexible scheduling helps teens maintain school and other responsibilities, while programming incorporates technology, peer connection, and opportunities for teens to have a voice in their treatment. After VIOP, support can include aftercare planning, alumni programming, referrals, and family resources.
