Provider's Policy

Finding Hope is a free support group.

Hope is Alive Ministries provides Christ-centered treatments for substance use.

Hope is Alive began with founder Lance Lang's recovery from addiction and his wife and co-founder Ally's experience supporting him during recovery. They have board members at their central Oklahoma City office and the other cities they regularly operate in.

Core Beliefs

Hope is Alive attests that addiction is a disease, there is power in prayer and community, recovery is possible for the whole family, it's important to replace negative behaviors with healthy behaviors, feeling is part of healing, and there is hope.

Virtual Outpatient Healing with Hope

Hope is Alive Online's outpatient treatment meets online for 90 days for a total of 6 hours a week in a format designed to allow clients to continue working, completing school, or taking care of family during treatment. A week of treatment includes 2 group meetings and personalized individual counseling with therapy that blends traditional 12-Step Facilitation and a 3-phase approach designed by Hope is Alive.

Hope is Alive Online facilitates drug testing to ensure sobriety.

Support for Loved Ones

Hope is Alive provides family care for free through their Finding Hope program. They hold meetings twice a month for 60-90 minutes. They are faith-based and commit to intentionally loving, supporting, and praying for each other.

Hope is Alive also provides a Hope After Loss counseling program to help people who have lost a loved one to addiction. They want to help family members heal and reconcile.

Additional Programs

Hope is Alive is based in Oklahoma City but has a national reach through their sober living, virtual outpatient, and family therapy programs, as well as their retreats, YouVersion Bible reading plan, and church, corporate, and school partnerships. They feature Craig Groeschel's endorsement on their YouTube, and they've worked with Groeschel, Tim Tebow, Brandon Lake, and Ben Fuller on their retreat programs. They provide information about their regular and special programming through their printed RADICAL magazine and blog posts.

As an alternative to outpatient treatment, Hope is Alive is planning to launch a residential treatment center, The Healing Center. The Healing Center provides 45 or 90 days of care on their scenic facility, seated in the countryside near Oklahoma City. This option provides more structure.

Following residential or outpatient treatment, Hope is Alive operates many sober living facilities with 12-18 months of treatment and structure.

Their "HopeLine" at (844) 346-7366 provides advice and discusses their treatment options and resources for individuals in need and their family members. They also offer to connect callers with opportunities to volunteer or donate.

Their special events include retreats, sobriety-focused worship nights, baptisms, and golf tournaments.
