About Victorious Journey Recovery Center
Victorious Journey Recovery Center (VJRC) was originally founded by NFL star Vance Johnson after his own battle with addiction. Since opening VJRC, Vance Johnson has continued to champion for others total addiction recovery.
The VJRC Center is a 44-bed facility with a specialized focus on treating addiction, mental health concerns, and underlying trauma in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada. Staffed with a team of qualified medical professionals, VJRC takes a personalized approach to addiction recovery. Each client receives a personalized treatment plan made specifically for them targeting underlining trauma or co-occurring conditions. The treatment center adopts a well-rounded strategy by integrating evidence-based therapy with complementary holistic therapies. Treatment includes mindfulness and meditation, traditional talk therapy, experiential groups, family counseling, and more.
VJRC also has 2 specialized treatment tracks specifically for veterans and military personnel led by a partner program called Heroes Mile as well as a chronic pain recovery track. The Heroes program addresses trauma and post traumatic stress with the uses of individual counseling, eye movement therapy (EMDR) and group therapy. The chronic pain treatment track gives clients various emotional, spiritual, and physical strategies that reduce the intensity of chronic pain.
The VJRC facility offers several private and semi-private bedrooms as well as spacious communal meeting, a large therapy room, workout area, and a meditation garden. All healthy and nutritious food will be provided as well as a variety of outdoor activities for clients to enjoy.
