The Joint Commission accreditation is a voluntary, objective process that evaluates and accredits healthcare organizations (like treatment centers) based on performance standards designed to improve quality and safety for patients. To be accredited means the treatment center has been found to meet the Commission's standards for quality and safety in patient care.

About True North Recovery Services Denver
Set in the University Hills neighborhood of Denver by shopping centers, restaurants, and service businesses, True North Recovery Services helps people struggling with drug addiction and co-occurring mental health challenges, anxiety, and other mood disorders. The center has intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, standard outpatient treatment, and sober living options. One drug addiction they treat that sets them apart is kratom, a type of opioid.
True North Recovery Services uses evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing in individual, group, and family counseling to support emotional and social growth. They don't require family members to participate, but they encourage it. Their team of experts works closely with each person to build coping skills and prevent relapse, helping clients regain control of their lives in a supportive and caring environment.
True North Recovery Services is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and they work with clients to find appointments that work for their job or school schedule. Their programs last as long as clients need their services. The IOP tends to meet 3 to 5 times a week for several weeks to several months. The standard outpatient care tends to meet a few times a week for a few weeks to a few months.
