Totally Psyched provides expert psychiatric and psychological health services to children, adolescents, and their families struggling with attention deficit disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and more. Totally Psyched's qualified clinical psychologists and adolescent psychiatrists are equipped to handle a comprehensive range of psychological challenges using a wide variety of therapies such as traditional talk therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, behavioral therapy, eye movements therapy (EMDR), play therapy, and schema therapy. After an initial assessment, Totally Psyched will work with the client and their family to come up with an individualized treatment plan that works best for them. Group therapy is also tailored to suit the needs of the child or adolescent. In addition, Totally Psyched involves the family in the healing process by utilizing narrative and systemic therapy.
Individual sessions are based on the child's needs and can range anywhere from 4 to 12 sessions. Pricing is based on the type of assessment and the therapy needed. An average cost of the initial assessment is $395 NZD, and psychological sessions range from $160 to $220 per session. Totally Psyched accepts most private insurance and private pay.
