The campus also provides specialized services for LGBTQ+ Veterans, survivors of military sexual trauma, and those impacted by intimate partner violence, all within a supportive and trauma-informed environment.

The center’s approach includes evidence-based therapies like individual and group counseling, medication management, and residential rehabilitation. Programs are tailored to Veterans’ unique needs, helping them recover from addiction, manage trauma, and build emotional strength. Therapy is available both in person and virtually, making support more accessible.

Tomah VA offers a 24-hour residential program that addresses addiction, homelessness, and unemployment through therapeutic care and community support. Additional offerings include smoking cessation groups, dedicated LGBTQ+ health groups, and the Strength at Home program for those navigating relationship violence. Veterans also have access to van transportation for medical visits.
