About SF Therapy Collective
With the goal of enhancing the quality of the entire queer community by supporting the mental health needs of its individual members, SF Therapy Collective provides in-person therapy in San Francisco’s Castro neighborhood and virtual care across California. The center serves LGBTQIA+ people, queer communities, couples, and those who support them. Clients can address anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity concerns, relationship stress, family dynamics, life transitions, and challenges related to discrimination, coming out, and self-acceptance.
Finding Your Way, Together
Clients can receive individual, couples, and family therapy through approaches tailored to their needs. The team uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), relational approaches, art therapy, and somatically informed counseling. Couples can also explore communication, family acceptance, polyamory, internalized homophobia, and other relationship concerns in a queer-affirming setting at SF Therapy Collective.
A Place for Connection and Growth
SF Therapy Collective brings together licensed marriage and family therapists, associate therapists, clinical psychologists, and other practitioners. The team includes clinicians working with teens and adults, as well as specialists in areas such as adult ADHD, anxiety, relationships, and LGBTQIA+ veteran care. Some clinicians also provide psychological assessments, while others incorporate Gottman Method couples therapy, acupuncture, or Shiatsu-style massage into their work.
