About Momentum Counseling & Consulting – Downtown Denver
Bringing therapy and psychiatry together under one roof, Momentum Counseling and Consulting’s Downtown Denver location provides coordinated mental health care for children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Located in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, the center offers in-person and telehealth throughout Colorado. Services include individual, couples, family, and group therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychological evaluations. The team treats anxiety and panic disorders, depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), grief, and burnout, relationship challenges, family conflict, eating concerns, substance use, and life transitions.
Begin Treatment with a Personalized Care Plan
Clients begin with a consultation with the care coordination team, which matches them with a therapist or psychiatric provider based on their concerns, needs, and schedules. Therapists develop personalized treatment plans using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Gottman therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions, narrative therapy, and play therapy. Psychiatric providers conduct evaluations, prescribe medication when appropriate, and monitor treatment over time. Group therapy is also available for clients who may benefit from a shared therapeutic setting.
Access Flexible Care Scheduling
Momentum Counseling and Consulting accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations. Appointments are available in person and through secure telehealth, giving clients flexibility to continue care in the setting that works best for them. The Downtown Denver location is open 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m and is accessible by an RTD bus stop directly outside the building. The center also offers 2-hour parking, elevator access, and ADA-accessible facilities.
