About Integral Counseling Center at Pierce Street
Serving the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly 50 years, Integral Counseling Center at Pierce Street is a California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) community counseling clinic that provides low-cost, integral psychotherapy for people for all. The clinic welcomes people of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, ethnic backgrounds, and spiritual traditions. It offers individual, couples, child, family, and group therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, relationship concerns, identity, neurodivergence, and recovery support.
Explore Patterns with Purpose
The clinic practices trauma-informed, social justice-oriented integral psychotherapy approach explores how past experiences, present patterns, relationships, identity, and social systems shape emotional life. Clinicians also consider strengths, purpose, spirituality, and meaning, including concerns around gender, sexuality, culture, class, religion, and existential distress. Advanced graduate trainees and registered associate therapists provide low-cost, sliding-scale therapy in person or online,with appointments available Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
