About Greenlake Therapy Group
Aiming to serve the Seattle community by providing ‘known to work’ treatments, Greenlake Therapy Group provides mental health care for children, teens, and adults, as well as couples and families. The team works with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use, eating disorders, self-harm, suicidal behaviors, and emotion regulation difficulties. Care also addresses relationship concerns, stress, adjustment, health management, and reproductive mental health.
Finding the Right Path Forward
Greenlake Therapy Group offers individual and group psychotherapy, couples therapy, parent coaching, diagnostic evaluations, and care coordination. Therapists use approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based treatments, exposure-based treatments, and functional analytic psychotherapy (FAP). Other approaches include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), the Gottman Method, and emotion-focused therapy (EFT).
Learning Skills for Life
Clients can also join structured skills groups, including adult DBT groups and a parent-and-adolescent group for ages 13–18. These groups cover mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance, with practice between sessions. Greenlake Therapy Group also offers a children’s anxiety skills group for ages 9–12 based on CBT and exposure exercises. The team has experience supporting veterans, NICU parents, and people managing high-risk behaviors.
