Ellie Mental Health matches clients with therapists whose experiences aligns with their needs and goals. Therapists use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), exposure therapy, person-centered therapy, play therapy, and attachment-based therapy. Depending on the clinician, treatment may include brainspotting, somatic therapies, play therapy, expressive therapies, and support for children, families, and couples.

Clients can also receive support for grief and loss, self-esteem, self-harm, anger, stress, relationship and marital concerns, family conflict, blended families, separation and divorce, infidelity, parenting, adoption and foster care, and reunification. Therapists provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and support first responders, veterans, neurodivergent individuals, and survivors of sexual assault. Some clinicians also offer yoga, brainspotting, sex therapy, career counseling, life coaching, nutrition services, and wellness consultations, giving clients access to services that complement traditional psychotherapy.
