Denver Metro Counseling
About Denver Metro Counseling
Founded in 2013, Denver Metro Counseling provides trauma-focused outpatient counseling serving teens, adults, families, and mental health professionals in Denver and throughout Colorado. Rather than following standardized treatment plans, the practice matches clients with clinicians who tailor care to each person's goals, experiences, and pace. Its multidisciplinary team includes licensed therapists and therapist candidates with specialties in trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, eating disorders, family therapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, giving clients access to a range of expertise within one practice.
Connect With Specialized Therapy and Ongoing Support
Care begins with a complimentary 20-minute consultation to help new clients find the clinician who best fits their needs before scheduling an appointment. Therapists use eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), exposure and response prevention (ERP), internal family systems (IFS), brainspotting, and other trauma-informed approaches to help clients process trauma, manage obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and work through long standing emotional patterns. Individual therapy is complemented by couples counseling, family therapy, parent support, and group therapy, reflecting the practice's emphasis on family systems and the relationships that influence mental health. The team also provides therapy for therapists, clinical supervision, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy when appropriate. Sessions are available in private counseling offices in Denver or through secure telehealth across Colorado.
