About Counseling Services for Wellbeing - Seattle
Founded on the idea that mental health care should be thorough, Counseling Services for Wellbeing serves children, teens, adults, couples, and families at their Green Lake office, with secure video available throughout Washington. The center offers individual, couples, and family therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) evaluations, child and adolescent psychiatry, and substance use psychiatry.
Tools for the Work Ahead
The team uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), somatic therapy, trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), play therapy, the Gottman Method, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT). Counseling Services for Wellbeing offers these approaches to address anxiety, depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), ADHD, bipolar and other mood conditions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, stress, burnout, grief, anger, and life transitions.
Care That Follows the Whole Person
Counseling Services for Wellbeing also provides LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally responsive, and neurodivergent-affirming therapy. Psychiatric providers assess and manage medication when appropriate, with coordinated treatment from therapists and psychiatric providers also available. Child and teen services include parent participation, and providers adapt treatment to each client’s age, developmental needs, relationships, culture, and concerns.
