About The Haven
The Haven is a beautiful rehabilitation country home located close to Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. They treat men and women who are struggling with drug and alcohol addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their evidence-based program includes individual and group therapy sessions with a strong emphasis on the 12-Step program. The Haven explores the underlying cause of addictions and focuses on repairing and healing. They have a physical exercise program as part of the treatment philosophy. Their goal is to increase clients’ coping skills, awareness, and resilience. The Haven’s program is a minimum of 28 days long. Treatment programs also include educational and informative lectures, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and a holistic approach. They provide 24 hour nursing staff.
This beautiful South African rehab center is located on the amazing Garden Route. They are on 6 acres of forest and garden land. Accommodations include shared bedrooms and bathrooms, fitness facilities, swimming, yoga, and outdoor lounge areas. They also have beautifully landscaped gardens, beach access, relaxing pool, and walking trails.
