Tellurian has been giving people a fresh start for over 55 years. Through a combination of science and service, they tailor their approach to every patient who walks through their doors, whether it is someone facing substance use disorder or a mental health crisis. Their residential and outpatient programs provide high quality, individualized treatment at a reasonable cost, with a low patient-to-clinician ratio that helps care feel personal and attentive.

Follow a Tailored Treatment Plan

Tellurian’s multidisciplinary team includes dually certified master’s-level mental health and substance use clinicians, registered nurses, and on-site medical prescribers. Together, they blend multiple approaches to tailor care plans to each patient, using evidence-based methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Each day balances individual work, group connection, family involvement, spiritual wellness, and other activities, improving well-being, increasing confidence, and providing tools for long-term recovery.

Refocus in Nature and Community

Surrounded by mature trees near the Aldo Leopold Nature Preserve, Tellurian helps patients step away from daily pressures and reconnect with themselves. Their residential facility serves up to 45 patients at a time, creating a close-knit community while housing men and women in separate wings. Meals come from Cranberry Creek, one of the area’s top-rated catering companies. A yoga studio provides a welcoming space for movement, mindfulness, and stress relief.

Continue Building Skills in Outpatient Care

Tellurian’s outpatient services provide continued structure and support while patients live at home or in supportive housing. Day treatment groups meet for 4 hours in the morning or evening, 4 days a week, with weekly individual counseling; sessions focus on honesty, accountability, coping skills, and building a support network. Their outpatient treatment is the most independent level of care, and ranges from a single assessment and referral to ongoing therapy.
