Sunlight provides psychiatrist services, group therapy, and a wellness facility to create a balanced residential treatment program. Clients have the opportunity to learn about their behaviors in structured individual and group therapy sessions. During treatment, clients are given the opportunity to apply the newly learned tools and coping mechanisms including recovery skills and self-sufficiency. Sunlight Recovery also teaches important life skills such as budgeting, job hunting, food preparation, grocery shopping, exercise, and healthy leisure time activities. In addition, family involvement is an important part of the recovery process. At Sunlight Recovery, they also educate the family members about addiction and help families engage in a strong support structure, leading to a more fulfilling life.
