A registered inpatient rehabilitation facility specialising in the treatment of substance use disorders, Step Away Treatment Centre’s structured 21-day inpatient programme is designed to provide clients with intensive, evidence-based treatment in a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.

Heal With Whole-Person Treatment

The center’s multidisciplinary team includes experienced social workers, a clinical psychologist, an occupational therapist, and a registered nurse who work together to develop an individualised treatment plan for every client. The 21-day inpatient treatment programme combines individual therapy, psychoeducational groups, life skills development, relapse prevention, and occupational therapy to address the physical, psychological, emotional, and social aspects of addiction. Step Away Treatment Centre does not provide 24-hour medical or nursing supervision.

Maintain Progress Beyond Inpatient Care

Following completion of the inpatient programme, clients are encouraged to continue their recovery through the center’s 6-month aftercare programme, which provides ongoing individual support from a social worker to help maintain long-term recovery and reduce the risk of relapse. Step Away Treatment Centre accepts most South African medical aids and hospital plans, with a private cash-payment option also available for clients without medical aid cover, making quality addiction treatment accessible to those who need it most.
