About Star View Adolescent Center
Star View Adolescent Center in Torrance, California, is an adolescent residential program providing therapeutic and rehabilitative services to clients ages 12-17 with a high level of needs. They specialize in treating those with trauma and severe emotional challenges, providing an integrative therapeutic program that eliminates the need for adolescents to be admitted to a hospital. Their therapeutic approach incorporates an individualized and evidence-based approach, giving clients the best opportunity to succeed. Some of their therapies include aggression replacement training (ART) and the attachment, regulation, and competency (ARC) model. The ART approach is a psychoeducation program that helps adolescents control anger. The ARC model is used to address trauma and incorporates family involvement to help adolescents process their emotions with a trusted loved one.
