Southern Plains Behavioral Health Services (SPBHS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care to individuals facing both short- and long-term challenges. Serving Todd, Tripp, Gregory, and Mellette counties in South Dakota, SPBHS offers services through its main office and satellite clinics. No one is turned away due to financial hardship, with discounts available based on income and family size.
SPBHS offers counseling for children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), helping those struggling with trauma, behavioral issues, ADHD, depression, and other emotional challenges. Therapists provide individualized treatment through school, home, and community-based services, ensuring comprehensive support. Outpatient care is available for both children and adults, with case management to connect families with necessary resources for long-term stability.
Beyond therapy, SPBHS provides crisis intervention, socialization activities, daily living skills training, and trauma support.
