The Cedar House sober living home in Pittsburgh, serves men and women, mainly professionals ages 35-65, who are in early recovery from alcohol or drug addiction. The house also considers some college students who are serious about their academics. Residents often continue day treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient therapy (IOP), therapy, or counseling and work while living at The Cedar House.
Pursue Lasting Recovery in Community
All residents at The Cedar House can benefit from peer support and AdventureTRAC Coaching. AdventureTRAC Coaching includes 1-on-1 coaching sessions that blends nature, coaching, and the Hero’s Journey model while helping individuals set goals and navigate recovery. Residents at The Cedar House often participate in outside therapies like an IOP or individual counseling to support their sobriety. They also typically work or are preparing to go back to work while going to meetings and developing healthy daily routines. By combining accountability with compassion, the program ensures that individuals build a strong foundation for recovery.
Cultivate a Sober Lifestyle
Residents stay in private suites with their own bathroom, desk, and high-speed internet. The house has off-street parking, provides meals, including chef-inspired dinners, a gym membership, and transportation to appointments and recovery meetings. The Cedar House organizes optional weekly programming, including things like bike rides, rooftop yoga, and sober happy hours. The Cedar House is pet-friendly and residents may bring their own pet.
