Recovery House ATX

Recovery House ATX provides safe, supportive sober living for women rebuilding their lives in early recovery, along with their children up to age 5. It’s designed for those leaving treatment or seeking a structured community to strengthen long-term sobriety. With clear expectations, peer accountability, and a family-style environment, residents focus on personal growth while learning responsibility, stability, and independence in a drug- and alcohol-free home with a live-in house manager.

Build Stability Through Structured Living

Located in southeast Austin, Recovery House ATX is a non-profit that offers 2 neighboring homes for women and women with young children. Residents enjoy furnished rooms, either private or shared, plus on-site laundry, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. The homes are close to bus routes, meetings, and shopping. They have 3 private rooms and 1 large, shared room. Weekly meetings, random drug testing, chores, and required 12-Step attendance create consistency and accountability.

Strengthen Recovery Through Faith and Community

Guided by the belief in “letting go and letting God,” Recovery House ATX encourages spiritual growth and life-skills development alongside recovery. Residents build community, attend 12-Step meetings, and connect with sponsors while working, studying, or participating in outpatient programs. This faith-inspired structure helps women strengthen their recovery and prepare for lasting independence.
