About Experience Structured Living
Across San Diego County, residents settle into 1 of 3 Experience Structured Living homes on Vista Way, Tropicana, or Busch, offering short or long-term sober living stays within an environment where consistent routines support independent living.
A Supportive Environment for Independence
The facility supports residents managing mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, trauma-related disorders, bipolar disorder, and depression. Residents have access to private or shared living spaces, common areas, and skill-building programs. A typical day at Experience Structured Living includes workshops, goal planning, group therapy, and leisure activities, along with opportunities for hiking, kayaking, beach outings, and personal relaxation.
Creative, Recreational, and Family-Focused Care
Residents also have access to experiential therapies such as art therapy, music therapy, yoga, acupuncture, mindfulness meditation, and team-building groups. Personalized care planning may include referrals to psychiatric services, individual therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ketamine treatment, and other clinically appropriate supports. Life coaches provide transportation planning, employment readiness, and appointment follow-ups, while family meetings and a weekly Family Healing Program help families stay engaged in the recovery process.
