About Second Chances Addiction Recovery Center
The center helps adults struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, mental health disorders, or both. They offer residential treatment, intensive outpatient care, and free aftercare. Guests start their recovery on a peaceful 10-acre property in Louisiana, far from distractions. With a focus on building life skills and accountability, the center helps guests take real steps toward long-term healing.
Their approach blends emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. Guests receive individual and group therapy, gender-specific support groups, and spiritual counseling. The program also includes educational lectures, family therapy, and relapse prevention. All therapies are designed to rebuild self-worth, strengthen relationships, and prepare each person to live a healthy life in recovery.
Guests stay in fully furnished cabins with kitchens, dining areas, and two bathrooms, designed for comfort and community. The campus includes a fitness center, group rooms, and 24/7 medical care. After treatment, guests can join weekly check-ins and counseling sessions to stay supported. Families are welcome to visit and take part in the healing process.
