Located on the coast of Mexico, Zamá Ibogaine Healing runs an 9-12 day residential ibogaine program in Playa del Carmen, about 45 minutes from Cancun International Airport. It works with adults seeking help for opioid, cocaine, or alcohol addiction, and also lists traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD, anxiety, and treatment-resistant depression. Guests stay in private rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The all-inclusive package includes airport transportation from Cancun or Tulum, meals, lab tests, ECGs, essential medications, two ibogaine flood doses, 24/7 nursing care, 24/7 doctor care, and medical monitoring during dosing.

What Happens During the Stay

The program at Zamá Ibogaine Healing starts with arrival, a health check, lab work, and a required negative drug screen. Days 2-3 include wellness practices, health check results, and orientation. Days 3-5 include the first guided ibogaine dose with health monitoring. Days 6-8 are used for rest, reflection, integration, and restorative practices. Days 9-10 include the second guided ibogaine dose with monitoring. Days 11-12 focus on integration, personal reflection, a health readiness check, and departure.

Guests may participate in meditation, sound healing, yoga, massage, temazcal baths, nature walks, ocean immersion, shoreline and cenote outings, and nourishing meals tailored to dietary needs or allergies. The center also offers psilocybin or 5-MeO ceremonial sessions, ancestral Bufo, remote pre-care before arrival, 1-on-1 guidance, personal care plans, and an on-site medical team with experience in emergency, critical care, addiction, trauma, and pain treatment.
