About Adult and Teen Challenge Cheswick
Adult & Teen Challenge in Cheswick offers a year-long residential program for adults 18 and older who are facing substance use disorders. The program combines licensed clinical care with faith-based resources in a structured, supportive environment. In partnership with the Naaman Center, participants also have access to outpatient services and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as part of a comprehensive continuum of care.
Receive Clinical and Faith-based Support
Participants receive therapy from licensed professionals, attend 12-step meetings, and have 24/7 access to pastoral mentors who support their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. They have daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, and community outreach to help build accountability, structure, and a sense of purpose. The program also offers faith-based activities, including chapel services, Bible studies, and Sunday sermons, which encourage reflection, personal growth, and a strong sense of community.

Center Overview

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
