Verity Mountain

Located approximately 90 minutes from Kraków International Airport, Verity Mountain is a private residential recovery programme in the Polish mountains for English-speaking adults facing substance use, gambling and other compulsive behaviours, often alongside burnout, stress, or trauma. Unlike larger residential programmes, Verity Mountain accepts only a small number of residents. This allows for greater privacy, individual attention and continuity with the same core team throughout residential treatment and aftercare. Medical assessment, detoxification, and psychiatric services are coordinated through trusted providers.

Build Recovery Around the Individual

Verity Mountain’s approach is person-centred, rather than asking every resident to fit the same therapeutic model. Each individually planned programme integrates trauma-informed, attachment-based and evidence-informed practices, delivered via:

• One-to-one therapy and regular contact with the therapeutic team throughout the week.
• Facilitated group work to explore patterns, emotions and relationships.
• Psychoeducation and relapse prevention covering triggers, coping strategies and warning signs.
• Family support, with resident consent.
• Time for reflection and assignments.

Recover in Privacy Near Tatra National Park

Every resident has a private en-suite bedroom, providing personal space for rest and reflection. Comfortable communal areas, shared meals and the surrounding mountains create an atmosphere that feels personal rather than institutional. Daily life follows a calm but structured rhythm, combining therapeutic sessions, recovery activities, outdoor recreation and time to reflect. Fresh meals are prepared daily using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Discreet transfers from Kraków International Airport are included.

Receive Continued Support After Residential Treatment

Recovery does not end when a resident leaves Verity Mountain. Three months of therapist-led aftercare is included, with a weekly 60–90-minute online group facilitated by a therapist known from the residential stay. Sessions focus on the realities of early reintegration, relapse prevention, accountability and maintaining stability as residents return to everyday life. Additional one-to-one support can also be arranged where appropriate.
