Located approximately 90 minutes from Kraków International Airport, Verity Mountain is a private residential recovery programme in southern Poland for English-speaking adults seeking lasting recovery from alcohol and drug use, gambling, and other compulsive behaviours. Many residents also arrive living with burnout, chronic stress, trauma, emotional exhaustion, or the prolonged pressure of holding everything together for others.

Small, Personal and Founder-Led

Unlike larger residential programmes, Verity Mountain deliberately accepts only a small number of residents at any one time. A smaller residential setting means more time, greater continuity, and the opportunity to build genuine trust with the same core team from admission through aftercare.

As a founder-led programme, every enquiry, assessment, and admission remains personal from the very beginning. From your first conversation onwards, decisions are made by the people who will work with you throughout your stay, not passed between departments or unfamiliar faces.

Recovery Built Around the Individual

No two lives follow the same path, and neither should recovery.

The programme combines daily one-to-one sessions, carefully facilitated small groups, psychoeducation, relapse prevention planning, and family meetings where appropriate. Our approach is person-centred and integrative, drawing on trauma-informed, attachment-based, and evidence-informed practice to meet each individual where they are, rather than asking everyone to fit the same therapeutic model.

Where medical assessment, detoxification, prescribing, or psychiatric support are required, these services are coordinated discreetly through trusted independent medical providers, allowing the programme to remain focused on therapeutic work while ensuring any medical needs are managed by the appropriate specialists.

A Private Mountain Setting

Every resident has a private en-suite room within a peaceful mountain estate in southern Poland, surrounded by protected natural landscape. Away from the pace, noise, and demands of everyday life, the environment allows attention to return to what matters most.

Life at Verity Mountain follows a calm and structured daily rhythm. Shared meals, one-to-one work, small group sessions, time in nature, and space for reflection create the stability that lasting recovery requires.

Residential stays begin with a minimum commitment of 28 days and include private accommodation, all meals, discreet transfers from Kraków International Airport, and three months of therapist-led aftercare delivered by the same core team.
