The Warmth Rehab

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains and fields in Chiang Mai, The Warmth Rehab operates a resort-style facility in Mae Rim with private, keycard-secured rooms, all-day dining, and 24-hour on-site staff. With a capacity of 15 residents, the center is registered as a drug rehabilitation facility under Ban Khun Morh Medical Clinic. The Warmth Rehab provides treatment for alcohol addiction, drug addiction, trauma, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring disorders through inpatient, outpatient, detox, transition, and sober living programmes.

How Treatment Is Delivered

The Warmth Rehab incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness therapy, and Therapeutic Community (TC) principles into treatment. Licensed physicians, nurses, psychologists, and psychotherapists provide individual counseling, group therapy, and psychotherapy throughout care. Family therapy based on SATIR and TREATNET® principles is included in the family programme, with counseling sessions conducted at least twice during the 28-day period. Outpatient clients receive treatment from medical professionals and psychotherapists for at least 10 to 12 hours weekly.

Detox, Recovery, and Transitional Support

Medical detox is conducted under physician supervision for detoxification and substance use treatment. From there, residents attend daily group therapy, twice-weekly private counseling, and weekly 12-Step meetings including Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Physical activities such as Muay Thai, yoga, cycling, and swimming are part of the programme, alongside massage and spa sessions held at least twice weekly. After primary treatment, clients can continue through transition or sober living programmes, both of which include weekly physician consultations.
