The Freedom Center
About The Freedom Center
A 15-week, Christ-centered residential program in Corinth helps men address addiction through biblical counseling, daily structure, and a live-in peer environment. Up to 15 residents stay at The Freedom Center, share rooms with up to 4 men, complete daily chores, begin mornings with devotions, and work through a 66-class discipleship curriculum developed by The Addiction Connection.
Work Through a Biblical Counseling Curriculum
The curriculum comes from The Addiction Connection, founded by Dr. Mark Shaw. Residents complete a 66 class course called Be Transformed: A Disciple Making Program for Addicts, and read The Heart of Addiction, The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and Overcoming Temptation alongside workbooks on relapse prevention. Each resident also meets with a counselor once a week for personal biblical counsel.
Follow a Structured Daily Rhythm
Care includes weekly 1-on-1 counseling, classes, relapse-prevention workbooks, and evening church or addiction-focused meetings on and off campus. Admission requires a $500 deposit with the remaining $3,500 due by the admission date, for a total program fee of $4,000. Smoking and tobacco are not allowed on the property, though nicotine gum, pouches, and patches are permitted at the resident’s expense.
