About SoCal Mental Health
SoCal Mental Health Residential Program
SoCal Mental Health offers primary mental health residential treatment. They can treat mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, thought disorders, and trauma in a home-like environment. They’re licensed through the California Department of Social Services for short-term crisis stabilization, and certified through the Department of Health Care Services - Mental Health Division. The goal of primary mental health residential programs are to avoid inpatient hospitalization, or to act as a step-down from inpatient psychiatric care.
A Safe Home for Healing
SoCal’s aim is to give clients the best chance at achieving sustainable recovery, and to do so, they offer a variety of amenities. Clients receive weekly psychiatric follow up visits with SoCal’s medical team, 2 individual therapy/case management sessions with their assigned therapist weekly, and 6 hours of daily group therapy. 3 of the daily group therapy sessions are offered by masters or doctorate-level clinicians, and the other 3 hours are holistic-based groups including but not limited to: sound healing, exercise groups, breath works, music therapy, yoga therapy, etc.
