Skolberga HVB is a psychiatric residential care home (HVB) located in the scenic area of Rönninge, approximately 30 kilometers south of Stockholm, Sweden. Skolberga offers several types of housing solutions tailored to individual needs. Their main building, a turn-of-the-century villa, provides 24/7 staff support and care. Additionally, they offer training apartments and transitional housing for residents who are ready for more independent living, as well as a support housing unit with five apartments located in central Rönninge. Treatment at Skolberga is based on evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and ESL (Everyday Life Skills training). The professional team includes psychiatric aides, nurses, addiction therapists, and CBT therapists, ensuring well-rounded support for each resident.

Skolberga’s primary target group is adults with psychiatric and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities who may also need support maintaining sobriety. They accommodate individuals placed under Sweden’s Social Services Act (SoL) or those on leave under compulsory care laws. To facilitate placements from across Sweden, Skolberga has agreements with multiple municipalities both within and outside Stockholm County, making it easier for social services to refer clients to their facility.
