Service League of San Mateo County Hope House offers high-intensity residential treatment for adult women dealing with substance use disorder. They support pregnant, new mothers, and individuals with co-occurring mental health issues, trauma, or homelessness. They focus on individualized care and create a warm, structured, and culturally sensitive environment. They help mothers care for their infants during treatment.
Residential Healing: Nurturing New Beginnings
Their approach uses evidence-based, gender-specific group and individual counseling, alongside education on addiction and relapse prevention. Therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, and hypnotherapy help individuals develop coping skills. These programs empower women to address addiction's psychological effects, learn healthy living skills, and gain emotional support. Additionally, Hope House provides a safe, welcoming residential setting with 16 beds across two homes, including dedicated space for mothers and their infants.
