Recovery Ways at Brunswick Place is one of Recovery Ways' two campuses, located about 20 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. It treats adults 18+ with addiction, primary mental health conditions (no substance use diagnosis required), or co-occurring disorders (dual diagnosis). A medical provider sees every patient within 24 hours of admission, and a psychiatric provider within 72 hours. The campus also has 24-hour on-site nursing.

Break Patterns and Rebuild Peace

The program combines therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and internal family systems (IFS) with sensory integration, fitness, yoga, and meditation. Clients stay in shared rooms and receive nutritious meals. The facility includes therapy rooms, a fitness area, and areas for yoga and meditation. The center also offers travel support for clients coming from out of town.

MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT

Supportive Medication for Recovery

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT

This center prescribes medications for opioid use disorder.

This center accepts patients receiving MAT prescribed elsewhere for alcohol use disorder, but does not prescribe it.

Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
