About Centerstone St. Louis - Northrup Avenue
Built around the needs of teens, Centerstone Northrup Avenue treats alcohol and drug use alongside co-occurring mental health concerns in St. Louis. The team assesses each teen and uses their needs to guide a treatment plan. The center provides residential treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient care, with individual, group, and family counseling and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate.
Practice Recovery Skills with Ongoing Support
Teens in residential treatment stay at the facility and follow a structured routine with counseling, education, meals, and activities. Therapists help them understand patterns behind their substance use, recognize triggers, prevent relapse, and practice coping skills they can use at home, school, and in relationships. Families can join counseling to better understand recovery and how to support their teen. Medical and behavioral health staff address related health and mental health needs, while teens who need less structure can receive ongoing counseling through intensive outpatient or outpatient care.
