About Peace House
Located near Summit County Health Department and just east of Highway 248 in Park City, this survivor-centered nonprofit serves adults and children ages 8 and older affected by domestic and sexual violence. Residential care includes emergency shelter and transitional housing paired with clinical counseling, community advocacy, and children’s services. Peace House prioritizes safety while guiding individuals and families through immediate housing and service needs.
Process Trauma With Support
Care uses trauma-informed, evidence-based counseling through individual and group sessions. Group programs and educational sessions support shared learning, emotional regulation, and informed decision-making for individuals and families. Therapists help clients process experiences of violence, develop safety plans, and understand abuse dynamics. Advocates help clients navigate legal systems, access healthcare, and coordinate resources for informed decisions.
Provide Safe Housing Support
Residents live in emergency or transitional housing with private or shared rooms, based on availability. Families and pets may remain together. Shared kitchens, living areas, and child respite spaces support daily routines. Staff provide round-the-clock support and help residents plan housing, employment, and service connections.
