Located in Murrieta, California, Mountain Sky Recovery combines medically monitored detox and residential treatment with Native American traditions and cultural healing practices. Rather than relying on a solely clinical approach, the program blends evidence-based addiction treatment with cultural practices to support recovery of the mind, body, and spirit.

Blending Traditional and Clinical Care

Mountain Sky's BLENDED Recovery Modality combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), 12-Step principles, the disease model, stages of change, and holistic therapies. The center treats alcohol and drug addiction—including opioids, fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, benzodiazepines, and prescription medications—while also providing integrated care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available when appropriate.

A Dedicated Couples Program

One of Mountain Sky's standout features is its couples program, allowing partners to complete residential treatment together while staying in a separate villa. In addition to individual, group, family, and peer support, the center helps clients connect with housing, legal, financial, and healthcare resources that can support long-term recovery.
