About Mirror - Topeka Residential, Outpatient, & Reentry
Located west of Dornwood Park, Mirror's Topeka programs treat drug and alcohol addiction and address related mental health needs through residential and outpatient services. Founded in 1972, Mirror operates at 2201 SE 25th Street. Adults can access 24-hour residential treatment, while adults and adolescents can attend outpatient counseling while living at home. They also operate a separate residential reentry program for adults transitioning from federal incarceration.
Residential and Outpatient Addiction Treatment
Residential treatment helps adults achieve stability, develop recovery skills, and prepare for returning home through structured care and relapse prevention planning. Outpatient clients attend individual and group counseling to address substance use and daily challenges. Mirror's broader services include assessments, intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), peer mentoring, and aftercare. Clients should confirm which additional services operate at the Topeka location.
Residential Reentry and Community Reintegration
The residential reentry program helps justice-involved adults transition from federal incarceration through supervised housing, employment preparation, budgeting, and housing assistance. Residents receive guidance with resumes, job interviews, financial responsibilities, and independent living. Mirror accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, and Ambetter for their clinical programs and may use grant funding for eligible clients.
