About Karralika Therapeutic Community
Karralika's Adult Therapeutic Community (TC) provides a structured residential program for individuals and couples with substance use concerns. Using a modified Therapeutic Community model, it emphasises emotional and spiritual recovery. Residents follow a staged process involving therapy, education, and skills development, promoting personal growth and behavioural change.
Experience a Holistic Approach
Karralika's Adult TC adopts a holistic, inclusive framework, integrating support Aboriginal individuals, women who have experienced domestic abuse, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions and pharmacotherapy. Collaborations with community agencies ensure residents have access to healthcare, legal aid, financial counselling, and additional resources. Clients also participate in 12-Step groups, alternative Drumbeat groups, and creative therapies as part of their recovery journey.
Transition Programme
Participants in the Therapeutic Community can transition to supportive aftercare housing, with continued access to case management and counselling services to sustain their progress and assist reintegration into the community.
