As the first facility in Tennessee to offer residential treatment for expectant mothers outside of a hospital, this women-only program was built to meet recovery needs that are often difficult to find in one place. Located in Knoxville, JourneyPure’s Women’s Center provides detox, residential treatment, 24/7 care, and recovery coaching for women ages 18 and older who are seeking support for substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.

Addressing the Challenges Women Face

Care is designed around experiences that commonly affect women in recovery, including trauma, relationships, parenting, body image, and self-worth. Pregnant women are accepted, allowing expectant mothers to receive structured support while focusing on both their recovery and future family responsibilities. Treatment takes place in a smaller, home-like environment that encourages safety, connection, and stability.
