Serving children, teens, and adults, Fairmount Behavioral Health System offers tailored inpatient care for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, bipolar, trauma, and co-occurring substance use issues. Their large 27-acre wooded campus has 169 beds and 10 separate units, including a women’s only unit, to offer personalized care for specific populations.

Treatment at Fairmount consists of a combination of psychiatric services, counseling, family practice medical services, and allied therapies, like art therapy, movement therapy, music therapy, and recreation. Being able to receive medical services under the same roof as behavioral health services ensures that patients get care for any underlying and chronic medical conditions alongside their mental health concerns. Fairmount also addresses both mental health and substance use issues at the same time, offering detox and a 12-Step recovery program for adults.
