It provides residential, psychiatric, and transitional care for young people ages 10–20 in a campus-style setting.

Build Lifelong Coping Tools

The center uses a trauma-informed approach based on the Sanctuary Model, which focuses on emotional safety and healing. Therapies include individual and family counseling, clinical and life skills groups, and evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and allied therapies. These help teens build healthy coping skills, explore difficult emotions, and grow stronger relationships with their families and peers.

In addition to therapy, CHOR offers on-site education at Centre Avenue Academy, featuring smart tech classrooms and personalized learning. With a point-based behavior system and support programs like Child Preparation and Post Permanency, young people gain structure, confidence, and support as they prepare for lasting growth beyond treatment.
