About Digital Addiction Coach
Digital Addiction Coach delivers non-clinical, telehealth coaching for adults and families facing pornography addiction, problem gambling, compulsive gaming, compulsive sexual behavior, and unhealthy screen use. John Winstanley leads the coaching and has 300+ credit hours of training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based recovery techniques.
Digital Addiction Coach is private pay only. This keeps sessions off insurance paper trails, which many clients prefer given the sensitive nature of digital and sexual compulsions.
Weekly Coaching and Digital Tools
Clients start with a free 40-minute Digital Reboot Call before choosing a program. Enrolled clients receive 24/7 encrypted text accountability support between sessions.
Adults enter the R.A.D.D. program for weekly tele-coaching built around changing compulsive digital habits. Sessions combine 1-on-1 coaching, small-group work, CBT and ACT-informed strategies, mindfulness, relapse-prevention planning, digital filtering, and accountability tools. Clients identify triggers, set limits, manage access to digital content, and build routines that reduce compulsive use. Faith-based and secular tracks are both available. Graduates of R.A.D.D. can continue in T.H.R.I.V.E., an ongoing online recovery community built for long-term sobriety maintenance.
Family Coaching and Access
Families use the A.L.E.R.T. program to address gaming, pornography, social media, sexting, parental controls, internet safety, and screen boundaries. The program includes parent and caregiver sessions, with teens joining structured coaching as appropriate. Because everything happens online, families attend from home without disrupting work, school, or daily routines.
