Clients needing detox from alcohol and other substances receive medical monitoring and withdrawal management from nurses and doctors on staff, helping ensure a comfortable start to recovery. Pyramid Healthcare offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol to help reduce substance cravings, especially for opiates and alcohol. Psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for co-occurring mental health conditions.

Psychotherapy and Group Therapy

Pyramid Hillside offers individual therapy, implementing moral reconation therapy (MRT), as well as discharge planning with a case manager. Clients can choose from a variety of educational tracks, including anger management, life skills like financial management and job preparation, relapse prevention, nutrition, health and wellness, and certified recovery specialist (CRS) care.
