About Pyramid Altoona Grey House
Located in Altoona near Railroaders Memorial Museum, Pyramid Grey House offers sober living for men with substance use concerns. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid, as well as accepting various finance options. Their location offers convenient access to I-99, and Highway 36, making treatment accessible for residents throughout Blair County. For clients traveling via public transportation, bus line 6 stops a block from the building.
Grey House offers a supportive, home-like environment for men in early recovery from drug and alcohol use. They provide referrals to outside treatment providers and ensure all residents are involved in treatment of some kind, but do not provide primary treatment services. Men care for their own personal space and provide for their own meals, engaging in work, education, and other personal pursuits. To help ensure a sober environment, residents are screened with random drug testing.
