About Project Turnabout Minnesota
Project Turnabout has been providing addiction treatment for individuals and their families since 1970. Their programs have evolved and expanded over the years. Today, they treat drug, alcohol and gambling addictions with detox, gender-specific residential programs, outpatient programs and transitional living homes. Each patients’ treatment plan is personalized to their individual needs, yet all patients work through the 12 Steps and find community through those support groups.>/p>
This program separates men and women when treating them for addiction and co-occuring disorders. Women and men face their own unique, sensitive issues that could create barriers to recovery if treated together. Each gender has opportunities to participate in tailored inpatient and transitional living homes.
The services provided at Project Turnabout are intended to reach the mind, body and spirit of each patient seeking help. The clinicians provide group and individual therapy, family therapy, psychoeducation on the cycle of addiction, mindfulness and meditation, life and coping skills, relapse prevention counseling, yoga and grief support services.
