About Pasadena Villa Outpatient Chapel Hill
Located minutes from Duke University, this treatment center offers two levels of care: partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Additionally, they provide a virtual IOP and day treatment option in the daytime or during the evenings from 5-8pm for their clients in North Carolina. Their PHP serves as a preventive treatment option for hospitalization as well as a bridge to step down from hospitalization or residential treatment. Clients can receive the most comprehensive care through this program with treatment for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. The IOP is intended for clients who are experiencing an increase in symptoms and are not progressing in their current therapy or outpatient treatment. Treatment is available for 3 hours a day, 3-5 days a week. The team of clinicians specializes in treating anxiety, bipolar, depressive disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and co-occurring neurodivergent diagnoses. They use a combination of research-backed therapies and alternative therapies to treat the whole person. The most common forms of therapy include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential therapies, mindfulness, yoga, nutrition therapy, and exposure and response prevention (ERP).
