*CLOSED* Located near the University of Georgia campus, this outpatient center treats adults with substance use and co-occurring challenges. Levels of care include standard outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Twin Lakes Recovery Center’s Athens Outpatient campus treats alcohol, opioids, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription drugs, depression, and anxiety.

Guided Healing through Therapy

Twin Lakes uses evidence-based care through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), individual counseling, group sessions, and family therapy. Clinicians provide psychoeducation, relapse prevention, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when needed. Licensed therapists and medical staff guide clients in managing cravings, coping with stress or anger, and building recovery networks for long-term stability.

Staying Connected in Recovery

Small group sizes, evening sessions that fit work and family life, and a strong alumni program give clients structure and support at Twin Lakes. Continuing care includes weekly AA meetings, monthly events, and the CaredFor App, helping clients stay connected, supported, and engaged in recovery beyond their program.
