Strategic Therapeutic Solutions

Located north of Emanu El Memorial Park, Strategic Therapeutic Solutions provides outpatient mental health care along Southwest Freeway in Houston. They treat anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and relationship concerns through individual counseling, group therapy, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management. Mental health intensive outpatient program (IOP) groups meet weekdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Clients can access services in person, virtually, or in community settings while continuing work, school, or family responsibilities.

Therapy and Psychiatric Services

Clinicians use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to address emotional regulation, coping skills, and relationship difficulties. Psychiatric providers assess symptoms, prescribe medications when appropriate, and monitor treatment. They also provide substance use disorder (SUD) counseling, relapse prevention, family education, and aftercare coordination, although some addiction treatment programs remain in development.

Daily Living Skills and Flexible Care

They serve children, adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, and families through outpatient counseling and behavioral health services. Psychosocial rehabilitation teaches independent living skills, emotional regulation, and community participation. Employment assistance helps clients address work-related needs, while recovery planning connects them with continuing services. The center accepts insurance and self-pay, but clients must confirm coverage and costs directly. Outpatient services allow clients to return home after treatment sessions.
