About St. Joseph Institute - Wexford Outpatient
Located along Perry Highway (U.S. Route 19) in Wexford, St. Joseph Institute provides a hybrid intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults with alcohol and drug use disorders, including cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana addiction. Clients attend morning or evening sessions in person or by video while continuing work, school, or family responsibilities.
Skills for Lasting Change
Treatment includes group therapy, individual counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills training, and relapse prevention. The team uses the Trac9 assessment tool to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans throughout care, with ongoing support available through an alumni program that includes weekly aftercare meetings, follow-up calls, monthly activities, and a recovery app.
